Experience & Areas of Practice
While in her initial career Tamieka Range held various positions in compliance and management for a variety of financial institutions including a full-service commercial mortgage finance company, an independent financial services firm, a foreign exchange (FOREX) brokerage firm, and an alternative asset management firm. After several years in the financial sector she decided to obtain a law degree and completed her Juris Doctorate at the FAMU, College of Law, in Orlando, FL. Subsequent to passing the bar, she was brought in-house as an attorney for a local, leading alternative assets investment firm to work on business, compliance, regulatory and corporate governance matters.

She previously served as an Adjunct Professor at FAMU, College of Law where she taught, Cannabis Law and Social Justice; the first cannabis law course to be taught at any institutional of higher education in the State of Florida, and the first cannabis course nation wide to focus on social justice matters within the cannabis industry. Currently, Tamieka serves as the Managing Attorney of Range Law Firm where she focuses on trademark matters; contract drafting, negotiations and review; and business formation and business transactions matters.
