Prior to practicing law Mrs. Range attained her B.S. in Finance from the University of Central Florida. While in her initial career she held various positions in compliance and management for a variety of financial institutions including a full-service commercial mortgage finance company, an independent financial services firm, a foreign exchange (FOREX) brokerage firm, and an alternative asset management firm. After several years in the financial sector she decided to obtain a law degree and completed her Juris Doctorate at the FAMU, College of Law, in Orlando, FL. Subsequent to passing the bar, she was brought in-house as an attorney for a local, leading alternative assets investment firm to work on business, compliance, regulatory and corporate governance matters.
Currently, she serves as the Managing Partner of Range Law Firm where she focuses on cannabis law, rules, regulatory matters; cannabis business compliance; contract drafting, negotiations and review; and business transactions. As a cannabis advocate, she serves as Co-Founder and General Counsel of ART420, an art company focusing on Cannabis Inspired Art. And she also supports Minorities 4 Medical Marijuana, a non-profit organization focusing on public policy, business development, medical access and social justice for minorities in the cannabis industry. Lastly, she serves as an Adjunct Professor at FAMU, College of Law teaching “Cannabis Law and Social Justice.” Mrs. Range is a wife and mother of 3 who knows her business success is a result of her family values.
